BPI and Bluejay Coffee to open branches in Ayala Technohub-Iloilo
Ayala-owned Bank of the Philippine Islands (PSE:BPI) is opening another branch at the IT center Iloilo-Ayala BPO Complex. The branch will be one of the few banks operating at the Smallville complex serving tourists, businessmen and Ilonggo party-goers. The bank occupies a space at the first floor beside the main entrance. Construction is now-on-going.
Another development is the opening of Bluejay Coffee beside the BPI branch. Bluejay Coffee serves gourmet coffee, tasty and unforgettable desserts, and other sweet selections. Currently, Bluejay Coffee is serving customers at its Amigo Plaza Mall and General Luna restos. Construction of the establishment is also on the way.
Other tenants at the building are Ocean City, and Floyd’s BBQ.
Iloilo-AyalaLand TechnoHub is an IT complex developed by the investment giant, AyalaLand, Inc. (PSE:ALI). It is comprised of three buildings, one of which – the Iloilo-Ayala BPO Complex already completed in early 2011. The complex is located at a 2-hectare property adjacent to Smallville Business and Leisure Park and the Boardwalk Leisure Center at Barangay San Rafael, Mandurriao, Iloilo City. The property is under a 35-year lease agreement with Teodoro B. Pison, Josefina B. Pison-Ortiz, and Riverside Boardwalk Properties Inc. This project is AyalaLand Inc.’s largest BPO development in the city to date with Iloilo-Ayala BPO Complex investment worth at Php 305 million.
The complex is geared to accommodate BPO companies interested in taking advantage of Iloilo City’s rich source of manpower and the low cost of doing business in the city. Iloilo City was identified as “next wave cities” for BPO by the Business Process Association of the Philippines.

DEVELOPING THE CITIES OF THE NEXT WAVE
The Iloilo TechnoHub will be composed of three buildings with support facilities and amenities for BPO firms. Its maiden structure, the Iloilo BPO Building, is envisioned to be a three-story, Grade-A facility which will be the prime office real estate solution for BPO locators. There will also be approximately 500 to 700 sq m of arcaded retail spaces at the ground floor.
Located in a city with around 17,000 to 18,000 graduates a year infusing fresh manpower to its labor pool, the Iloilo TechnoHub is in close proximity to schools (Ateneo), hospitals (Doctor’s Hospital), and the downtown area.

hopefully the BPO company said to operate at ayala technohub open promptly, that would mean more jobs for Ilonggos and revenue for the city. same also at plazuela, their space for BPOs been sitting idly for months.
yeah, i agree. more employment opportunities here at iloilo the better. Iloilo is very ripe for investments due to its strategic location, capable manpower, and business incentives given by the local government
