Tribu Pag-asa of Barangay Pali Benedicto, Mandurriao was founded in 2003 by its owner and manager Andres Gomez Jr. They were declared champion in 2005 in the Barangay (community) category and represented Iloilo City to the WOW Philippines in Intramuros, Manila that same year.

Tribu Pag-asa is supported by choreographer Salem Suelo, music director Genesis Sumagyasay and costume designers Mr. and Mrs. Andres Gomez Jr, and Rene Concepcion.

The Tribe has 60 warriors, 45 drummers, 20 start drummers and 30 support staff.
