Iloilo City honors Señor Sto. Niño de Arevalo

Submitted by on January 20, 2013 – 8:40 pmNo Comment

Iloilo City celebrated the annual feast of the Sto Niño through Masses, processions, merry-making and praying to the image of the Child Jesus. At Villa Arevalo, where the highlight of the celebrations is the 3rd oldest original image of Sto. Niño in the country, people crowded at the church to hear Mass, have “palapak”, and pray to the original image (which is shown only once a year).

Here are the photos of this day’s religious celebrations honoring the 1581 Señor Santo Niño de Arevalo:

With our continued support and prayers, one day the Arevalo Parish will be declared as a shrine for Señor Sto. Niño de Arevalo

VIVA Señor Sto. Niño de Arevalo!
