This afternoon, Iloilo City once more caught a glimpse at the masterpieces of its home-grown talent, Eric Delos Santos, one of our country’s top designers. Dubbed as, “Dinagyang Homecoming Fashion Show”, nine beautiful models paraded more than twenty pieces of Eric Delos Santos’ Collection. Eager Ilonggo shoppers at SM City Mandurriao were delighted at the amazing collection, and the whole activity center was full of excitement and pure Ilonggo pride.

I believe some of the pieces were also presented during Grand Fiesta Manila’s Fashion I at Genting Club in Resorts World Manila last December 2011.

True to Dinagyang 2012′s theme, “Beyond Awards, A Culture of Excellence”, today’s fashion show highlights our fellow Ilonggos’ world-class talent.

Eric Delos Santos, one of our country’s famous designers, sat near the back of the stage – watching his models exchange places at the cat walk. He was calm and I would say looks humble.

I wouldn’t try to describe the collection, as I’m not a fashion expert, less I embarrass myself. So let my pictures express my reaction to the show which I can summarize in one word – FABULOUS. If the most beautiful immortals should walk this earth, they would wear Eric Delos Santos’ designs for sure.
